hi every one, just looking for any way of cleaning the upholstery in our caravan without hiring anything. do the upholstery cleaners you get from the supermarkets work or a wast of money, your thoghts please. peter

We use our 'VAX' wet and dry vaccum cleaner with the carpet cleaner and defoamer that came with it. works really
well. Amazing the amount of dirt it removes even from sections that don't look too bad

hi peter,
i have a son that throws up all the time. I'm good at cleaning car seats. While in tassie with a hire-car he had a big chuck with caramel milk...yuck.. i got one of those carpet foam shampoos from woolies and used the vacuum cleaner. worked a treat to get rid of the marks. sprinkle bi-carb soda on anything that is smelly and leave for a few hours, then vacuum.
