thanks for all replies re 6515 and tomtom maps, finally got it working but a new problem my pda keeps switching itself on .thats why the battery went flat and i lost the maps before. i must not be swiyching it off properly is there someone that can tell me what to dothanks again shredder1

There have been a number of reports of this and mostly it seems to be related to Activesync trying to automatically sync to a server.
Check all of the settings you can find in Activesync.
