It occurs to me that members of Explore Oz probably have a tonne of local spots they love to visit for their own enjoyment, usually well away from the madding crowd. These could be just the thing for an out of town EO member who is passing by may like to visit also and taste of the local scene.

Is there a place in Exploroz.com where I can post my favourite spots so other EO members can also know where these great locations are in my local area?

Chris

Probably should be Chris but then they wouldn't be away from "the madding crowd". I take friends EO ones that is, to those places when they call. I am learning more of those places myself too.

Apart from the local ones, I love it up along the Murray, the High Country, The Ocean Road, SA outback, the Flinders Ranges, the Simpson, Cooper Creek at Innamincka............................

Footy,
John R has possibly milked one or two cows in his day but now it's Nick R's turn as the heir apparent. But whilst John is out with Moses, you can see the look in his eye as he casts it over the local cattle.

Thanks Des. Now I get it, John is old and ugly like me but because he has a son taking care of business he can NICK off on trips. :))))))

I wouldn't put it exactly like that Footy cos I fit that bill too but you've got the gist of it. John is known to Nick off frequently on trips leaving the next generation to carry the burden. Don't tell him where you live cos he's been known to turn up anytime. LOL Just as well his cheese is very good.
I'd better lay low for a while or I'll be getting a phone call.
Did you notice the time of John's post and Nick's follow up. I thought John would be the one sleeping in.

I wondered about Nicks speedy response, maybe looking over someones shoulder ?
John and I should be in the same area at around the same time, but we will be seperated by a few CSR wells...about 10 of em LOL. However I will make an effort to chat to him on HF, and possibly catch up somewhere over the rainbow :))))

Be offline working for half a day to find you guys writing enough for a romance novel. I think F'loosie may have mixed his Johns as others have been known to do. I hope when he yawns crying ruuuth over one, he will make sure it is the right one. CSR is a trip I may do but have not got an HF radio yet mate.

Better watch out as Nick's father-in-law Kezza is down from the Gold Coast and away from all the government jobs. Must be ready to milk in the morning.........

Wow. A Nick that milks, A John R that appears to be a ringleader of something...I thought perhaps King Cows, and a Kezza that is Nicks FIL from the Gold Coast (now thats a bit close for comfort) . Then there's the mystery John, heaven only knows where he fits into the story.
John R, now I wouldn't go calling it a romance novel. In case you hadn't noticed, they're all BLOKES.......I hope !
How did ruth manage to get a toe hold in the proceedings ?
Most confusing. :))
I mean a footy is a footy is a footy. Apparently, Johns ain't John's, Sol.

Well you are more of a floosie are you? LOL F'loosie, mate. I thought you confused a john with John and/or JohnR so was trying to make sure that Barry McKenzies favourite saying wasn't over John or JohnR and was into the john, rather than over it. Particularly seeing some prefer to stand over johns and others sit on them.

I ws interested you were going to the CSR and thought you were going to be in contact with John there - so you said anyway mate. Distinct difference to this JohnR who doesn't have an HF raddio daddio.

Me, a ring leader. Not something I could possibly comment on. Heather did buy the full versions of the DVD sets of Francis Urquhart BBC plays though for a learning experience. FU for short if you remember.

As Des observes JohnR likes a sleep in occasionally as has been reading 18 HOURS pretty late at nights.....

F'loosie, are you confusing JohnR and John R? I think one flies aircraft of the distant travelling type and the other flies kites, wel,l metaphorically speaking.

He is one of the silly ones that likes 5 stars and hotels not 5 billion.

There is a small spot behind Anglesea, down a lovely track on the Painkaluc Creek. Divine
