Hey Truckster, how's the overhauled fan going. Has it had a decent workout yet? I understand how most things work but not these bloody fans!!!!
Mine will not lockup at all so I'm very keen to know........
Also how'd you get it to Berrima - courier I guess would be the way to go?

Went out today to Tynong/Gembrook... few good hills and stuff, and it NEVER got over 1/2.. Actually didnt get to 1/2!!!!!
BEST $80 I ever spent. You have no idea the size of the smile, or the relief I feel knowing that it is FIXED *fingers Crossed*

Yeah Bruce, but it was only about 15 degrees out in Gembrook today. We'll all be interested to see how it goes on a hot day.

My 60 series never gets over 1/4 here in Qld, but put it up the
Toowoomba Range and its a different story.I'll let you know Truckster the results of my overheating problem when I have the Pyrometer Etc fitted on Wednesday and push it up some steep hills, failing that I may be looking at your idea.

I'm interested too, truckster- seems pretty common for these fans not to work as they're supposed to. Are you happy with it now- and do you hear it cut in. I don't think
mine's working..

To be honest it doesnt get hot enough!
Hill that used to get it up lots, now doesnt do crapola!
So far hasnt got TO the 1/2 way mark! Am I Happy, OVER THE MOON....

Well what other options did I have? If it didnt work, I had done everythign possible, and if everytime I hit a
hill the temp guage hits "H"elp, Id rather it be someone elses problem...
Exactly think of all the work I had done - AND NONE OF IT HAD WORKED!?!
Anyway the new GU plenty have driven it, your the first one to notice any difference! I would have laughed at him, he probably hasnt sold one new GU since release! $30k++ Change over, what you driving a G60 or 40 series?

Yeh you're right probably $40k++.
BTW when I say I was impressed it was only in comparison with my old girl- not the previous model- I had never driven a GU.
