Hi all, we currently use an Emap with Oziexplorer - great setup, however we are becoming increasingly frustrated with loading tracks and waypoints manually prior to trips. Does anyone know if there are any sites where tracks and waypoints can be downloaded for the popular 4wd trips/destinations in NSW and VIC. We have seen the GPSOZ site and you can get a limited download from some boiling Billy publications (NSW one listed is now out of print) for Oziexplorer. Any advice greatly appreciated.

Moggs,
We will be building these for all of our
treks one day. So you will be able to get it from here however so much to do so little time. I cannot even tell you when this will be available. We have all the data ready but cannot find the time to make it all work.....

Mogg's,
On a slightlly different note just wondering if you have any trouble transfering waypoints track notes etc from the GPS to Oziexplorer? I can get it from the PC to the GPS but not the other way. I am using a Etax Vista but I guess the protocols work the same

David, initially I had some problems in getting the waypoints and tracks from the Emap to Oziexplorer. In the end I joined the oaiexplorer user group at Yahoo and they sorted me out. My problem was to do with setting Oziexplorer up to recognise that it was receiving from a Garmin Emap. Unsure about your GPS, however I'm sure the Oziexplorer user group will set you straight. They are a good bunch of people who are extremely patient and helpful - I'm learning something each day in reviewing the posts.
