Yes it has changed a little to allow me to integrate the search onto the index page. You found it good for others they are text links in the box at the top under the heading of Switch Post View & Switch Sort Options.
All the best

Heres another idea.
Seperate forums...
From the opening page of site, click FORUMS, which opens to a main page with each one as aheading, and then select each
forum as you want.
Might also make searching easier, or at least going through...
Accessories
Vehicles
Travel/
Treks
Fridges
GPS
Fridges
GPS
Thoughts.

Good idea Truckster. I was thinking just the same thing last night. If each new posting was catergorised by the initiatorthen searching, archiving etc could be done by categories.

I asked this question about 6 months ago and the response was not to make categories for exactly the reason you have given Bruce. I do not think they will help that much and will as you say make it more difficult to work out which area your questions is meant to go in or be read in.
Maybe I should setup a poll and ask this exact questions and see what happens. I do not have a poll system yet but it would not be that hard to write.

I dont think it would be hard.
You have a FRIDGE question you go to ACCESSORIES
You have a car problem you go to CARS
You have a FRIDGE question you go to ACCESSORIES
You have a Trip question you go to TRIPS....
How hard can that be!?

Hi David.. I think the way this site automatically only shows me the posts and ads which i have not read yet is great.
Also the when there is a new trek note or reply to a post..
Saves people remembering which posts they have looked at......
Who could ask for more than that?????

Truckster,
Voxson is refering to the lookup available to paying members from their
home page. This little feature will only show new items since the last
logon.
Maybe you should try the members system and see if you prefer this access method. I have made heaps of mods to the site based on
feedback from you and others so is it not about time to put your money where you keyboard is.

All opinions expressed are valued by me. Members opinions are valued about $30 more than others but all are
well considered - I must say that I do also agree at this stage not to break the data up.
