I need some help here. When we moved to WA 12+ months ago our tent made it but the poles didn’t. We have a Tanami Tourer 3mx3m centre pole tent, now without poles. Discount Camping used to do a pole set where you could do away with the centre pole but they don't stock this as the tent is no longer in production.
Does any one have any suggestions of any supplier that may have this internal side frame (i.e. centre pole replacement kit)? Or if anyone has a pole set they don’t need I’d be happy to negotiate a price.
The tent has only been used once and it’s looking more and more likely that I have a useless bag of canvass in the garage. Seems like such a waste.
Thanks.

I like the idea of the centre pole replacement kit, if you happen to find a supplier, I would be keen to have a look.

Thanks Mike, much appreciated and I might take you up on that offer. In the future I might need to try to manufacturer a replacement. We are in
Perth too,
Scarborough. We need the (a)tent for the frist weekend in Feb.
Futher searches have found that discountcamping supplied these tents but their web page no longer seems active. Not looking good.

Try Graham at All Sorts a Canvas on 03 5979 1311, he had a few of these tents & may have spares.

Thanks Porl,
I've sent you an email with a
pic or two of the tent to confirm its the same tent we are talking about. Posting the poles from
Brisbane to
Perth might not be cheap, I'll see what I can find out.

Hi Again Grumpy
Further to your call, Including the tent and pole I can get it shipped from work for $118.25 to take 5 - 7 working days. Double if by air. This was for "less than 25kg" so I don't think any price advantage in sending just the pole. Though certainly would be easier.
