My error Andrew, I thought you were from FNQ.
Should have picked the locale from the humourus response.
You're not waiting on enlightenment, I trust?

Well yes, I do know that anything with four X's on it is not beer though, having been up that way. Although if it says "Heavy" it means drinkable.

Oi!! Don't you start, "Buddy".
(Methinks it must be the new moon influence on dark souls).

The reason for posting the 'elapsed time' bit was that I posted re point'n shoot cameras, in response to Friday's post that centered on the D SLRs. Nothing happened, so I ran a check.

When ready to send , THE BOSS informed me that there was similar content elsewhere on forum. I think I hit the "OK" button, which may have wiped the post.

Confused? Me too; need a large bore straw.
Thank you for your invaluable input Gentlemen, Jeff.
(ps. posted20.1.07. Timed to arrive with full moon. [THIS cycle]) jh.

No Jeff, silly me for mentioning it. Just imagine a jungle track, swamps, long grass and steep ravines, you are at the start of the track. You take one look and say "Naaah, not going there" LOL

Footyl, there are times, still, when I wish the option you mention had presented itself more forcefully. Still, here we all are, and I'm pleased that the little point'n go thingy is to your liking: me too. Cheers, JH.

Aaahh now Jeff H, are you talking about when the post appears on the Forum or when the email advice/notification appears at whoever's desktop? There can be a delay with the email side of things.

Thanks Gramps.
Duncan, some of us run kero-powered units (like Willem's Sat phone), and there is a delay while it gets up to speed.

Ye, I know what you mean, I was on dial up until late last year and the difference Broadband makes is great. Wish my ISP did broadband 2 which is even faster. But alas will have to wait.
