The much detered Friday Funny was infiltrated today by none other than David, who has finally posted his first attempt. For all this time he has moderated funnies and jokes from the
forum but today of all days hes cracked. He has finally seen the benefit of good Aussie humour in the
forum.
Well done David, we all hope that you will join the ranks of Mr Fawlty and become a regular contributor of the Friday Funnies.
Cheers Kev

Kev, Are you suggesting I'm funny or something?
But it is always a good thing when the censor has a sense of humour - if you all get my drift.
I'll have to join up so that I can really offend you all without fear or favour and display the Flag with my signature...
If I may, just for a moment, be serious, this
forum depends on advertisers paying David to advertise their products on his site. We the participants in this
forum in turn create business for David by buying products either from Explore Oz or the advertisers.
It makes sense therefore to get as many participants on this
forum for whatever reason, hey if they just drop in for the humour so what, they may spot something they actually need and purchase it. The discussions of some time back to close the
forum would have been disastrous as no one would have come here & no business would have been done, from my experience there is a plethora of sites out there catering to all manner of recreational pursuits (I have some unbelievable ones but if I were to list them David would have to strike them from the record) and the ones that prosper are the ones with forums like this one. So have a look around, maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow but soon & for the rest of your life...
One other point of note that I wish to make on Australia Day is the incredible sense of pride, espirit de corps, and patriotism expressed in the posts. Even those with an enthnicity of a non Aussie background seem to love this country and all it means... I ge tears in my eyes at times the fervour with which the forumites defend issues, even if OT, it amazes me. Ok going to have a BBQ with Sybil, enjoy our DAY...

Your wit and humour is to be commended. Yes there is a lot of other sites of equal quality as our Explore Oz, but as a whole this site takes the cake with the wealth of knowledge and the tell it like it is,
forum members.
Cheers and hope the BBQ with Sybil is the best one of the year. LOL
