The tent is being used by some friends this week who are thinking of buying one, (a black wolf turbo 300)............right size for them but now that we have bub number 3 basically here we are gonna need some more room....not that Nathan and I mind sleeoing under the stars...its our prefered method .....
so thought that if friends wanna they can buy ours off us and we could buy the turbo light......
Anyone got one of these?? I know the material isnt as strong but there is a stack more room in the one that comes with the extra bit at the back......(
yes a camper trailer is till out of reach at the moment...unless we come across some good cash....)

Just got back from a night away with a couple who own one.
After the 'man of the house' got it out of the ute, his wife promptly erected the tent in no time at all, which for you means, that Nathan will be able to sit back and relax whilst you take care of the tent setingupering :)
But serious, looks to be a good product, materials a bit thin for my likeing (canvas man, but that is personal preference), easy set up/ pack up, plenty of ventilation and head room. The idea of the optional fitting of the fly is good.
Only negative that we found was that, as per usual, the bag it came with suddenly shrinks once the tent is removed from it, thus making it very difficult to fit back in.

The only neg i see is the lightness of the material too......we have the standard black wolf and its as tough as buggery!!
packing it up is easy as as long as its not moist or hasnt been raining....after 6 weeks of packing it up everyday we got good at it...the only time we have had trouble getting it into the bag was at Red Bank
Gorge when it rained and camping at
the beach for 2 nights when we first got it....
but i managed to get up our one the other day....being 38weeks prega's i rekon i did pretty
well carrying it out of the shed, putting it up and packing it up....and managing to get it back in the back!!!
Nath will like you!!! gettin me to put it up!!!LOL!!!

Well done on getting the tent up at 38 wks preggas!! A sterling effort by anyones card :)
I guess the question regarding the material is how often you would be using it? IMO, if its your regular means of accomodation, the canvas will still be going strong in 10+ years, its easy enough to repair and comfortable to sleep in.
We upgraded from a synthetic style tent when wife was pregnant, as she found it unbearable as the synthetics just dont breath, especially when theres moisture on the outside. She loves the canvas, finds it alot better to sleep in.
Good luck
