Hi All, Just for interest this is a photo (if I can work out how to get it on here) of the Burdekin
Dam taken by SWMBO in November 2006 when we were returning from a club trip inland between Charters Towers and
Bowen. In the background is the Burdekin
Dam wall which at the moment has about 20', or for the jungsters, about 6m, of water over it. They had plenty of rain inland from
Bowen again today around where rivers that feed into this flow so it ain't going down too soon yet.!MPG:5!
Cheers

G'day
Ross
Yep - must be spectacular at the moment. Hard to believe so much could flow over there.
Have driven across the bottom twice. Each time I just felt that I wanted to get to the other side as fast as possible - the thought of all that water on the other side was somehow unnerving.
Cheers from the Moose
