Anyone know of an Oz distributor for these? Seem to be the best thing for a fuse box that I can find. Otherwise it looks like a marine product might have to do.

Can't help with them but I've used those stainless/plastic fuseboxes from whitworths with great success, they use the old glass type fuses and have screw type connections to take an eye terminal.

Hi
Strahan
these seem very good but what is the application? I have used a couple of these from Hella in my vehicle and they work fine.

I am going to run several things through it. The main one is an HF amateur radio which can draw up to 25 amps. This is the biggy- box needs to be able to cope with that. Others are only engel, invertor, and a few bits and pieces. Had a look at Blue Sea? ones from the boat
places which might do the job. The rigrunner looked the goods because of the easy plug set up.
Will keep looking!!!

Strahan,
Why run the HF through a separate fuse box? Most advice I gathered before installing
mine would suggest running the power direct from the battery noting that the radio has its own fuse.
Just interested.
Matt.

Aha, you spotted that!
Well the radio I have has a funny connector. I was going to buy another so i can use it at
home and in the car. The original power cable is $40.00 for 2 bits of wire. Bit expensive!!! I can get one from the states for $11.00 which does not have fuse holders in it. Hence running itthrough the fuse box. Does seem a roundabout way to do it, but sort of makes sense.
