Hi all,
I just purchased tha above tinny and have a couple of questions to ask.
It is rated at max 15hp outbourd with a max weight of 34kg.
Is it possible to buy a 15 hp outboard weighing this much?
If not what could i expect to get weighing no more than 34kg?
I would consider both 2 and 4 stroke outboards.
Thanks
Chris.

The 2 strokes will weigh less than this but the 4strokes may way more,
Check out the specs at your local dealer

2 strokes in the 15hp range vary from 34kg's to about 39 kg's, The 4 strokes are up in the 40's!
Check out the specs on the manufactures websites!

I'm running an 8hp Yamaha 2 Stroke on the back of a 3.1 V Nose Punt and its deadly speedwise.
Give consideration to something a bit smaller, you will be amazed at the performance.
Sorry can't find the owners manual to look aup the weight. Howeveer at the time I bought it I looked at a heap of motors weightwise cause I have a stuffed back.
The Yamaha was considerably lighter than the 2 Strike Mercury.
Every bit of weight counts.
