Whilst searching via Google for maps in other parts of the world I came across the GPS passion website. In particular one member has compiled a list in an excel spreadsheet of a huge range of maps for many countries. A surprising number are setup for Oziexplorer. The link is:

then go through a couple of clicks. This is necessary otherwise the direct link will be out of date when an update is done.

Hope this is not old news, but has solved a problem or 2 for me.
