Hi Aaron,
I haven't actually replaced any uni joints in my Jackaroo's, the last one I had, had over 300,000 kms on it (same uni joints) gear box & diffs. 2 motors though, the little 2 litres rev their hearts out.
How come you need to replace the uni's? they last for ages if you keep them greased. relacement is not hard, basic metric spanners & external circlip pliers easy do it yourself stuff. sorry can't help with the parts costings, try Repco or someone other than Holden. drop me an email if you need more info.

Best of luck

Mark 04/98 petrol Jack.

Hello redjack it's the 3.0l turbo intercooled engine (4jx1) and it failed at 90000 . The story is in the explore oz forum at post id 3913. there is another case in the forum somewhere but you'll have to find it. This one leaned the fuel mixture causing overheating which cooked no. 2 cylinder I think it has something to do with the injector seals in the head failing which inturn does some nasty things.
