Has anyone had any success in repairing a leaking self inflating mattress. One of ours has split along the seam just near the valve. The split is about 3cm long. I am thinking of using Shoo Goo, but that could end up being messy.
Thanks for any advice.

To close-off this query, I bought the Seam Grip product, applied it to the inside edges of the split seam with the applicator, then cut a small patch and applied the product to both surfaces and let it cure for 5 minutes (was supposed to be 15 minutes, but who can wait that long!). Then I placed the patch over the split seam on both sides by folding it over. Got a G clamp with 2 bits of wood and applied pressure and left it overnight. This morning I took the G clamp off together with the bits of wood, which were slightly stuck to the fabric, closed the valve on the mattress and jumped on it and did not hear or feel any air coming out. Looks like it is fixed. Will see how long for though.
Thanks all for your comments.
