G'day, just thought I'd ask a qestion in regards to a particular elec fault on my GU patrol ute... Just recently my left hand indicator flashes quickly when turned on. Does anyone know what causes this,,? I thought it would just be another bulb blown, but they all seem to be working, and if I put my hazards on, It flashes at the right speed... Can anyone give me some ideas or things I could try....
Thanks for your help...

BB.

Bag Boy,
(How on earth did you arrive at that e name ?)
A similar fault on our TGM bullbar sourced back to appalling wiring/installation. May be worth going over all the" connect" points. (A real PITA)
Hang on a sec, and a Sparky will set you right.

Short is usually found around the tow hitch - start looking there and if not, check anywhere it may have been altered next (eg your after market bull bar) or where wiring may be exposed and subject to damage.

After checking those wiring and earthing points , you could check the alternator seems to be ok.
If you have a voltmeter to put across the battery , you would likely expect to see around 14.8 volts. ( havent been playing in bog holes lately?)
It would be worth checking that the indicator globes are all of equal wattage also.
(normally about 18 watts each I think?)
If you have a mate with a GU you could try swapping flasher relays for a test.
Good luck
