Hi David,
I take it you are using the latest version (at least 3.95.4K) and have Google Earth open at the same time. I also take it you are choosing the File==>Save to File==>Export to Google Earth options to load waypoints/tracks to GE. If so, what is/isn't happening?
Hope this helps
Andrew

If you have your track file open in Ozi do as above, when a dialogue box comes up make sure it is pointing to the data directory in Ozi, save with as a .kml file. In Google go to File>Open again make sure it is pointing to your Ozi data directory. Click on the file you saved earlier and hey presto it will take you to the track highlighted on the Google earth view.

David,
1. Make an Excel (or other spreadsheet) file of your data with column headings (I use Lat, Long, Name). Save it as a .txt file. (It won't work unless you have column headings.)
2. Don't have more than 100 lines in the file unless you've got more than just the free Google Earth or the Plus version.
3. Just drag the file's icon onto the GE screen. As easy as that.
4. Gets awkward to put a whole set of trackpoints such as obtained from PlotSwap because of the 100 limitation (Typically a track will have 5000+ trackpoints). If you know how to stuff around with Excel, you can select just every 4th or fifth or whatever-th trackpoint and put them onto GE in bunches of 100. You still get a very good indication of the track.
5. To join the points etc on GE you need to have GE Plus - it's only US$20 and mightily worth it.
6. If you send me your email address via Member Messages I'll send you some of what I've done. All you'll need to do is open the file I send you and you'll see it all there on the GE screen.
7. I'm happy to answer other questions on the process up to the limit of what I've workd out!
Graham.

Sounds easier if he just uses OziExplorer as mentioned in his first post....

Easy just
(1) "export to google earth" from OZI to create a "kml" file.
(2) Open google earth and open the kml file you created.

Can you export Google earth into Oziexplorer? Or does anyone have an electronic copy of a Moreton Bay Marine Chart they want to send me please?

I use a program called StitchMap Pro 2 (not free) for downloading and autocalibrating GE images.....handy program if you have a need for it.
Why not use the free 1:250 000 topos from Geoscience Australia?
