Just a msg of Thanks.
I know this isn't the exact place to put this msg, but think it shows the sort of people that are members of EO.
As a member of the Riverland 4X4 Club I would like to personaly thank EO Members, Roachie, Willem, Lucy, Pesty and Andrew of Vivid for coming down and assisting with the clubs demo day. Also congratulations to Des and all his helpers for putting a good show together.

Cheers Glenn

Hi John,

Yep great day and great weather, Dear Old Des did a great job getting it all together. Seems he must have been taking his medication and all ran well.

Did see Lucy towing his rig with a little 4 wheeler, I know my SWMBO recognised the vehicle, guess that means it was from Yanky Land.

G'day blokes,
Yeh, Lucy IS putting on weight!!!!! He was getting stuck into those green bottles of brown lemonade by 0800 yesterday!!!!! His new (ish) trailer is still a work in progress (and probably always will be). By the time he gets it all finished, I think he'll need a Kenworth to tow it anywhere.
I can be cheeky towards him now, cos I've taken delivery of the roof rack which he so kindly collected from another EO member (g'day Peter) and transported over the border for me.
Deidre deserves a medal for what she has to put up with day in, day out!!!
Anyway, it was great to catch-up with old friends and new ones. That camp spot at Nappers Bridge was a beauty too.....might have to go there again at some stage.
Cheers lads,
Roachie

Blaze

Very pleased to meet you and the other Riverland 4WD members.

I had a sensational day, especially as SWMBO was else where with her cousin from Berri and not screeching in my ear to 'behave' myself and 'haven't you drunk enough of those yet'.

I will elaborate a bit further on the day tomorrow as it is a tad late to do it justice now.

AND

as for you two other 'm i s s i n - p i s s i n' cootas - in your boot, as you will both keep until tomorrow.

PS

Will ring you tomorrow Honorable memer for Terang.

Ooops! a leetle faux-pas on my part.

The commanding officer of 'Camp Renyard' - Brigadier General Moses - was missing in action (way too much red wine, cheddar cheese and wild women apparently. Someone said he had no taste in the latter and prefered mixing with any old 'cow/s')

So! Moses, missed you long time and hopefully and will see you at the July gathering no doubt, all the best to you and yours ( and cow 181)

Actually the Moses mob were enjoying the company of Bonz amongst other Kidz Crawling on Saturday and partly at Hamilton Sunday grappling with control of the Nation.

Like to have enjoyed the company there at the Riverland but other fish to fry but it could have been to the fire there had I gone. From the fryin pan that is.

Ms Lucy, Heather says next time she sees you, there will ba a strange grovelling sound at her feet. She knows it will be a more wrinkled though still overweight Ms Lucy then to grind into the footpath....

Ooops! Now you have gone and done it Moses.

When will you learn that you never ever let your SWMBO look at the Forum Posts and responses.

I am gobsmacked that:

(a) you let her out of the kitchen to have a look at the forum

and

(b) now its going to cost me big time evading the Royal order of the boot next time I am in the vicinity of the said lady.

(ROFLMAO) 'cow181' ( more ROFLMAO)

PS

My SWMBO has not got a clue about this forum, just thinks it is a 'guy' thing.

Ahh, but Ms Lucy, my SWMBO can get from her kitchen, that I am on occasions able to use to her kitchen. Her office needs the internet to be able to get the relevant upgrades to Quickbooks Pro. She is computer literate enough to be able to search on EO. If necessary she could search all the references on Jeep, or Lucy and knows very well how to use her mobile.

Having the phone number of a Diedre programmed into her Next G phone, able to get through when even my phone can't get through. I reckon there could be a scalding of a Lucy when least expected.

The afore mentioned SWMBO was able to tell me when a Mad Dog had referred to a certain Moses in terms he thought had been missed. In other words, you better watchit.

As for cow 181. She isn't in my black book. Our herd spans numbers of four digits if you were referring to them.

On the account of the herd and the previously afore mentioned SWMBO, I think you better start trembling in your boots.

It would have been a great day. A pity I missed it but a bit too far to drive. Good to hear it went well. Regards to everyone in the Riverland.

PS. My feet aren't wet yet but I can see the river from the back door.

G'day Glen

It was a good day out and I finally got to meet you and Andrew and another fella from Loxton(whose name I have misplaced). Also good to catch up with other Clubs Members whom I have met in the past.

Reprobates like Uncle Des, Roachie, Pesty, Muddy and 'Miss' Lucy are old enemies...lol

Apart from the temporary 'mishap' at the end of the day I enjoyed the outing and there is noting like a quick 500km run to the Riverland.

Cheers

Hi Willem,

So how did you go at the end of the day? I had to drop one camper home and seen the emu bob going on, and new that with all that talent there you would be able to get the old girl fired up even if the missing item didn't surface..LOL

Catch yah in July at Warraweena.

Cheers

It was a great day and again, my personal thanks for everyone who made the effort to attend. Thank you.
I'm sorry, but I can't let this opportunity pass. A certain senior nameless gentleman who travelled 500 k's to attend, was about to depart for home when he couldn't find his car keys.
All the EO group were helping him look for them when after a little while, one of the ladies decided to have a woman's look in the car for them and guess what.
If I were Judith, I wouldn't let him out on his own again.
Cheers

Des

Good god Des,

I would have thought a well travelled icon like our Willem would have a spare key taped or mounted to the underside of vehicle, maybe on the suspension or similar.

I would suggest you do this Willie. Mount a spare key under your towbar, and as for all the members reading this, you don't have to worry, no one is in need of a behemoth of vehicle like the NISSAN GQ LOL

Yeah fellas

I have always driven Old Bangers which could be started with a piece of wire or screwdriver. This modern, state of the art 1994 GQ Nissan is way too technical for me.

Some of the ideas profereed were good but some are impractical.

The good this is that the GQ is not related to a Commodore and theft is highly unlikely....LOL

Cheers
