After reading post 43128 it has taken me 1 &1/2 hrs to be game enough to ask this question, then I thought 'what the heck, I can take it. My question is: has anyone tried or knows anything about the iBlue 737 Bluetooth GPS? We have a Garmin in the Beast but was looking at a portable one. Are they just for the city or are they good for the bush as well? I know nothing about these kind of things so lay terms would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Just revisited your post to scrutinise and see the word "portable" If you want a gps that does both, give voice Nav' in the car and be portable with 20hr Lithium Battery that fits in the top breast pocket of your shirt and still work then I can only think of one way to go

www.ja-gps.com.au/garmin_quest_1.html

keep the button fastened so it don't fall out when bending ove

Hi Deanna,
Please send me through all the information you require and I can forward it to our supplier for some more accurate advice. This is a very new product on the site and as yet I have had no feedback. I have had a few people buy them but unfortunately I am unable to give you further information than what is on the site as yet.
Give me a couple of weeks and we may know a bit more.
Thanks

Hi Jackie, I was looking for just a small GPS to have in our second car, we have a GPS in the Patrol because that is the vehicle that we travel in outside of the Perth Metro area.
What we would like is something not too expensive, I guess just something that we can replace with the street directory and that we can set trips on etc, if it could be used in the bush that would be great too, but nothing else.
Does that help

Thanking you

Deanna
