Hi all, has anyone had the optional rear tie down hook installed on their NS (or earlier) Pajero? It's installed just behind the handle that lifts the hatch to the 3rd row of seats.

Just wondering where/how they mount it to the vehicle. Might be able to come up with a home made version.

I reckon the standard tie down positions are pretty badly thought out and the optional hook might solve a few packing problems. $60 for a bit of webbing and a stainless ring seems a bit over the top though.

Cheers, Sam.

Yeh looks a bit weak .
The standard hold down points are not that good in my NP Pajero.
I bent one with a strap that holds my Chuck wagon in place.
I had a NM before that and had same tie down design.

Cheers Scoof.
