Hi Guys,
I have just installed my Trailblaza 40L Fridge back in my ute and am wondering how long do they normally take to reach the lower thermostat setting. The fridge is sitting in the back of my Patrol Ute underneath a slide on
home made canopy and has constantly been running for at least 3.5hours now. The fridge is filled to about 80% capacity with drinks and food. Is this normal to take so long to cool down.
Thanks

I think That is too long for its first run to cool the cabinet down , being only 40 litres ?
You sure you have`nt got it on a freeze setting ?
You should get a temp gauge and see what it is doing.
JayCar have top little digital fridge thermometers around $15, they display inside and outside temps.
Regards
