I am just glad he knows nothing about 2.8 Patrols. The figure he has quoted of $14000 for a 3LT is crap. I got offered $16000 to leave my '99 2.8 at a car yard $20000 if I bought a car from them. So would expect around $18000 to $19000 from a private sale.

Cheers Stefan

Nearly all of them are in the South Island of New Zealand. If you know the area then they are Omarama and Wanaka with some old gold mining tunnels near Greymouth. I live in New Zealand and have a Troopie in Melbourne for Oz travel.

Thanks Voxon, the Nissan was the widest and the guys wife ran into the bush saying "I can't look, I can't look". We did cut the bank back a bit and dig a shallow trench to run the uphill wheels in which made steering a bit better as you could 'feel' the rut edge and new your wheels were tracking against the bank.
