G'Day all,
just got my receipt for my greenslip renewal, and shocked to see a 'yes' at the at fault claims in last 2 years box!
Rang em up, turns out cos I claimed a windscreen!!
had it removed and refunded $40, it was apparently added on automatically by a computer, so worth a close look at these things!
Rgds
Ron

I used to work in the industry. A number of insurance companies interogate the Baycorp Advantage database which is an insurance claims and credit industry database. You can contact them and get a copy of what they have on you.

Baycorp Advantage are a bunch of HACKS.
I did a
check with them on myself recently and found about 12 purchases or applications for credit which were not
mine.
They did remove them after a bit of mucking around but it would have been pretty bad for me if I wanted credit while all of their stuff ups were on my record.
They said the incorrect entries on my record were made by the lending institutions, a bit hard to believe that 7 different lenders would wrongly put 12 credit transactions on my record.
Plus, once they fixed it I didn't even get an apology, or any sort of assurance that it wouldn't happen again.
It really gets to me that these peoples incompetence could mean I miss out on buying my dream
home or something similar.
Cheers, Jack
