Heyall
I've just replaced the standard Toyota AM radio with a new Clarion AM/FM/CD/MP3 etc unit. Now, I've got a few CDs I'd like to burn in mp3 format (Coz I understand you can fit heaps of mp3 on a standard CD??). Is there a program or application required for such a task??
Thanks

Our 6 stack CD player stopped working, and as we are in the real outback for about 8 months travelling we went for a mp3 player and have the little gadget attached to it that plugs into your cig lighter and the mp3 player has over 2,000 yes, over two thousand songs on it and lots of room for more. It is something you can put in your pocket, in the caravan or in the car and not listen to the same song twice. You can tell it to shuffle the soongs so you do not get several by the same singer in a row too. Great thing and it is simple to use. When you plug the addaptor into the cig lighter it makes the player play thru your car speakers.
This way you have the CD's at
home safe and sound and the songs on the mp3 player and if you really want you cna have them on the computer too.
Enjoy your music, we do.

A good tip .
It takes a long time to collect and select the music and then convert it to MP3 and put it on your iPod .
Everytime I put music on my iPod , I save it to an external hard drive which I am about to save to disc .
If you loose your iPod , have it stolen or it craps itself , you have lost all that music and man hours . Also If a friend needs a copy , you cannot copy from the iPod ( I cannot anyway ) .
Cheers ,
Willie .

Use your Widows Media Player to make MP3s or WMAs both of which should play on your radio,You can select what type by going to TOOLS/OPTIONS/RIP MUSIC, what you should have bought is a car radio that has a USB port on the front , then you use a 1gb flash drive that will hold over 300 songs and no moving parts in it thus NO skipping or jumping , Brands I have seen with this is [
mine] a JVC, also in Sony, and Kenwood, all available now at Supercheap,
