Has anyone got some ideas they would like to share on mounting a pair of decent map reading/courtesy lights in the roof between the sun visors in a LC 100 series. I am not real keen on going the whole aftermarket roof console thing but would really just like some lights to install. Some of the later models TD's and saharas I believe have them standard but probably too much of a job and cost to install in
mine.
Any ideas would be most welcome.

I put one of those sort of things in the passenger side corner of the 75s. trayback.
I used a 12v./20w. qi reflecter type globe, in a socket with switch mounted on a small alloy bracket.
Simply ran a lead to it, it is nicely over the passeger shoulder aimed more or less at the glove box area.
Has been very useful, much more effective than the standaed roof/courtesy light.
