Good news.
But do yourself a favour and get anything other than VET when your sub runs out.
I still remember calling VET tech support when hard drives broke the 512Mb(540Mb) barrier and VET wouldn't work - response was "If technology stood still there wouldn't be a problem"
That was the last day I remained a VET reseller.
Have never seen a reason to look at it again, the alternatives are always better.
cheers

4hrs on the phone with bigpond and that's excellent! I do hope you are kidding. if not, then you must be one very patient person.
firewall in an anti-virus program is like number 3 in their "questions to ask the customer" list.
anyhow,
well done and enjoy!

?
I'm using Vista, no problems with Internet connections, VPNs, etc all work no issues.
Don't blame Vista if 3rd party apps don't work. The Telstra software probably doesn't work with Linux either.
Please bash those who deserve it, not those who build something new.

If your looking for a good anti-virus program without all the problems that tend to assosiate themselves along side it, I suggest you just download the free version of AVG Anti-Virus. Updates are small, it is rare that anything gets past it and i have found it much better than most products you pay an annual subscription for and not too mention have to download 10-20mb updates for.
Just do a google on AVG Free and you will find it
