Hi Kerry
I thought I'd let you know that 2 Landcruisers with 6 campers on board travelled from Halls Creek to Wiluna and stayed here for 2 days, departing today, (16 May) for the Gunbarrel Hwy. The track was quite good and dry and they left the CSR at Well 5 for Granite Peak as the lower end (Well 5 to Wiluna) will be closed probably for another 2 weeks unless there is more rain.
The wildflowers are magnificent, although it's too early for Kangaroo Paws.
Travellers coming across from Carnegie Station to Wiluna have had no problems on the road to Wiluna.
Cheers

Hi Gill,

Thanks for the update. We'll drop in and say hello when we are travelling through from Carnegie around the 23rd July.

Cheers

Thanks Gill
Its great to get some up to date local knowledge from out your way. Good to see the Forum and the internet working this way. (Its always tricky getting latest info on remote track and road conditions.)
Im sure lots of travellers planning a Canning SR trip will appreciate the update.

cheers

Security is mostly a superstition. It doesnt exist in nature. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing.
