Some of the middle aged members here may be interested that a live version of Jeff Waynes War of the Worlds album is coming to Australia, the following link is for
Brisbane.

The usual proclamation applies here; I have nothing to do with this or have any connections etc etc etc.
Just posting to allow those interested to know about it.

Saw an add for it in the paper and I'm tempted. One of my favourites.

I have the DVD of the Wembley 2006 show. Got it from the UK about $50
It's BRILLIANT
Nothing will keep me from seeing it live.

As usual it is not coming to the South Australian (cultural) desert (excluding
Peterborough of course Willem)
Looks like a trip to the east is on the boards come September.

I just got the info by email 5 minutes ago. It looks great but I nearly keeled over at the prices for the good seats in
Melbourne.

I'm going! Booked and paid for it today almost as soon as I got the e-mail. There is no way I could miss that as it was one of my favourite records back when I first got a stereo in my VW. Used to drive everywhere with the martians at full volume :). Once in a lifetime opportunity so I thought bugger it, we will find the money. Specially after the disappointment of the movie with Tom the wonder boy in the lead role.
Tim.
