Has anyone fitted an "Endless Air" compressor to a troopy? We have read the past threads and have noted people have had problems with the brackets. How easy is it to fit to a Troopy?

I had been thinking about endless for my GMC Sierra..
first of all .. no standard bracket and not enough space .. the compressor is too deep.. talked to a couple of ARB shops and they didnt want to know me .. answers I got was .. they don't support their product to well, tensioner problems, slipping belts ... i did not get any real positive feedback ... then again their market presence, brochure, website and all advertising they do looks low end and unprofessional .. so they most likely do not do much turnover anyway ... well thats what it looks like to me ..

I ordered this instead from the US

there is no compressor on the OZ market which can do that .. 100% duty cycle at 150psi ...

good luck

thats not even close ...
3/4 hp vs 1.5 hp and it does not specify duty cycle ..
usually thats where they fall short and especially from a 0 feedback seller
give me a break ... rofl

have fun

Yea Lucy has.. he even made a new bonnet or 5 to make it fit.. his is above the engine, and has a cancerous growth on the bonnet now to fit it in!

I think the Jeep infection went to his head.

LMAO: that bloody bonnett is a GREAT thing of beauty!!!! It kinda reminds me of the SLR5000 bonnet. In fact Lucy would have us believe his droopy is every bit as stylish and FAST as one of those groovy little Toranas.

Has he got around to fitting the 2000lb winch to the front of his roof line yet so that he can electrically raise that bulbous growth up for the servicing he has to do everytime he wants to crank it over? LMAO x 9,000,000,000,000

He needs the endless air....it's the only way he can get enough air pressure inside the cabin to rid that confined space of the unpleasant odours which eminate from various orifices of his poor old body everytime he sees the dash board light up like a christmas tree, cos he went within 500 meters of anything vaguely resembling a puddle of water. hahahahaha

I have an 80 series with 1hdt engine (1hz with factory turbo). I believe that 'it is not possible' to fit an endless air to this combination...

I have made a bracket and installed one myself - several painstaking weekends later it works great. But i have aftermarket air conditioning which uses a sanden 508 compressor - i dont believe factory air has.

I was able to fit another sanden 507 compressor directly above the 508 for the air conditioning. The air conditioning compressor had to be moved down around 3/4 of an inch.

Let me know if you want any further info. Twigiee

It is a diesel with an aftermarket turbo. We briefly thought about creating one ourselves, but as you said takes quite some time & we dont have any to spare! Which is why we were considering the Endless Air with brackets to fit underneath the alternator.
Thanks for your info.

I thought that looked pretty good until I saw *****95 amps @ 12.5 Volts DC

I say, I say boy, now listen boy, that there be some mighty big amps boy! Don't go gettin a flat battery now, or burning ya little truck down, ya hear!

Is that how they would say it in Texas?
