I think that the NEW Weather Forecast page is just excellent. You are only two clicks away from seeing what the day may be like in your area.
We do not have a weather station here in
Peterborough but there is one at Yongala 10km away but it does not operate on a daily basis. Now believe it or not, Yongala is the coldest place in SA, but the temperature does vary within the 10km. I have learned over the years from watching TV weather reports and looking at my temperature guage outside under the verandah, that our temperature on average, is 2 degrees colder than that of
Clare in the winter months, from about May onwards, and pretty much level with
Adelaide during the summer months from around October. So now, instead of waiting till the end of the news on TV or Radio for what the weather may be doing today, it is right here before me.
I think that all the other features are excellent too and especially the Icons for Other Regional Information within the Roads Report.
Now new users who ask the age-old boring questions about "Whats the weather like" or "Is that road open" can have these answers at their fingertips.
Exploroz since its inception in 2001, has grown from strength to strength and its value to travellers throughout Australia is immense. Every user should get great value from this site and I urge more of you to become Members here to help David and Michelle to maintain and constantly upgrade this valuable internet asset.
Of course I noticed the Nanna's Brigade complaining about something in the thread of PeteS's post 45779 of yesterday. But that was to be expected.....LOL Luckily there are more positives than negatives on the
forum.
Cheers

Willem,
I would second that.
This site could put Vic out of business, almost.
The information that is available is second to none. I use the Fuel Prices, Road Reports and Weather Forecasts a lot and now that they are in the new header box it is so much better. I don't care if it takes up half the page. a scroll of the mouse and I am into the main page.
In fact it is very hard to get the Troopie ready while I am on here. There is not much to do but I need to finish it off now.
