Can anyone recommend a trailer expert that would able to provide advice and/or upgrade/adjust the suspension on an off road boat trailer - in ACT, Vic or NSW? I have just got back from a trip to QLD towing a 4.75 metre boat with 60 hp motor during which time the trailer spent a good deal of its time in the air rather than on the road - being towed by a troopy. This was just on sealed roads such as the Newell Hwy. I need some advice on what could be done to the suspension setup (Alko type) to have the wheels on the road a bit more!

Give Louie at :"Straight Talk Suspension" in Blacktown NSW a call. He has set trailers like the one you have described up before with fantastic results, He helped me work a proper spring rate to damping ratio in the only length of shock I could fit into my offroad trailer, the end rusult was a trailer that rides better than the towing vehicle !
