Hi all
Was just getting prepared for camping trip next weekend, and was just checking tyres on trailer, when i thought to myself "how am i going to change a tyre on this in the event of a flat." I had always just thought i would use jack from navarra, but on inspection, the chasis of the trailer is to high to get close to lifting it up to change a tyre. My question is, and apologies if it is a dumb question(i am new to this stuff) but can i jack the trailer up using the bottom of springs as jacking point. I have under axle springs.
Thanks for any
feedback

just put the bottle jack under the spring where it is clamped to the axle. Same for vehicle. Use a base to stop the jack from disappearing into the ground, jack on level ground, keep vehicle connected ; all the safe stuff.

Hi Freezer,
Short answer: Yes you can.
However on some older caravans (Not Campers) you may have to jack on the chassis to allow the axle to drop enough to get the wheel out.
Didn't read the post thoroughly hence my bit about caravans--totally irrelevant.

Most CT's can be jacked anywhere there is a chassis or springs etc....as long as the thing gets in the air !!!!!!!!
I find that most jacks are not suited to CT's because of the height to the axle, chassis etc, but because I take some flat bits of wood for levelling the CT , its not usually a problem !!!
