Next weekend I intend extending the Diff and Transmission breathers on our '97 Manual Jackaroo.
The Diffs don't appear to be too difficult, but I'm not sure about how to connect to the Transmission/Transfer Case breather.
It appears to have a short length of pipe with a non-return valve sticking out of the top of the gearbox. Gentle persuasion won't budge it and I don't want to use excessive force, so can anybody tell me if the pipe assembly is screwed or pressed in and what type of adapter can be used to connect the new breather hose to.

Thanks
Trev

Trevor, I have a 99 model and if I remember correctly it screws into the housing.

Thanks Will,
Perhaps I've been too gentle with it.
