Can anyone help me to locate the diff breathers on my 1999 NL Pajero TD??
I have looked around but cannot even find the one on the rear diff, let alone the transmission/transfer case.
Do all cars have them or am I blind??
Thanks for your help.

Hi gompy.

To save you a bit of time, do a search on this forum on this subject as it has been discussed at length, not necessarily for your model, bit diff breathers in general.

The rear diff has a rubber tube on top of the "Pumpkin" that leads to the chassis cross tube above it-worth extending. the front diff is a little more difficult but from memory it is there, I think it's a metal tube among all the front axle contraptions for the auto hubs etc. As for the transmissions they are located on top in the depths of the transmission tunnel. Go have a look at a manual at Repco and you'll get the location more accuraretly

Thanks AndrewPatrol, Ihave found the rear and transmssion breathers! so easy if you know what to look for.
The front diff is still hiding somewhere, but at least I know it must be there somewhere.
Unfortunatly there is no manual for the NL Pajero as yet.
