Tom, did a few sections of it in July past. Road was in great nick and a lot of work has been done crushing new road base a building it up. The 200 odd km from Yulara to Docker river (WA border) is atrocious and always is. Heavily corrugated and blown out. On the Great Central you'll always find road conditions deteriorate coming towards indigenous hall roads and around centres such as Warburton due to the increased use. Still subject to impasse when wet tho.

Cheers. Mick

Hi Tom,
They are always working on it, either routine grading or realignment and upgrading. Depends on when it was last graded as to how rough it is.
Bad sandy sections between Warburton and Warakurna, after the Wanarn turn off, and before Docker River (heading East).
Even the Docker River to the Olgas section can be good especially after a fresh grade, sorry Mick.
Cheers
