Ian
I am in the middle (old motor out, what a bugger of a job without a 4WD manual) of swapping the original 1800cc motor for a 2600cc
astron can anyone give me some tips or tell me what I can expect when I get it going again?

Ian,
From what I've learnt cooling water is very important, make sure you use distilled or reverse osmosis water and a good coolant concentrate, the Mitsubishi aluminium bits are prone to cooling water corrosion / erosion. Only a small item but can be costly in the long term.Keep the shiny side up
