The new Courier 4L V6 had the LPG fitted yesterday.

It seems to drive better than on Petrol. It may be just me, but the motor appears to deliver more progressiver power. Being a manual, and I pride myself on my smooth gear changes, it is easier to drive smoothly.

Now, with 68L of LPG and 85L of Petrol I have an impressive touring range.

Big bonus is they had to re-route the exhaust to accommodate the LPG tank which meant losing the resonator (muffler) and now the ute has a decent "note".

Very happy and I'll post fuel consumption figures soon.

Jim
I also lost my resonator on the V8 cruiser, sounds great.
I reckon my Prins system is about 12% less efficient on gas. but as you have read on my previous post early stages yet.
Are your gas injectors slightly noisy? Nothing major though. Overall it appears a great system.

Norm,

Yes, a noise under the bonnet, almost like the old days of sticky lifters. Only notice it when I lift the bonnet.

OOOH, a V8 without the resonator, that must sound very horny.

Regards,

Jim.

who fitted the prinz kit ? Not sure about prinz on a V8 .Would have gone Imco injection on that one, since they make a factory kit for it.

Got it fitted by the dealer, Jefferson Ford, whom I bought the vehicle from. Stuck with them to avoid any warranty issues.
