Hi all,

GU TD4.2...

I'm getting a rattling/scraping noise intermittently coming from, I think, one or both of the rear wheels.

It seems to be set off by hitting a bump in the road, but not all bumps will set it off.

The noise will go away by itself - the time / distance it lasts is inconsistent.

The noise never seems to be present from a standing start.

My guess is that this is a brake pad wear warning - has anybody experienced something like this and able to confirm or deny?

Many Thanks

PGK

could be stones caught in behind the brakes too, our cruisers get them occasionally at work.
cheers
