Hello, we have had one for 4 trouble free enjoyable years...

until a few months ago when we cracked 3 out of 4 heads.

It was an expensive repair, but we love everything about the car that it was worth it.

I don't know the figures off the top of my head, but I'm not even sure that it can tow 2000kg legally.

around town, it's a little doughy (like all small capacity TDs) but once the turbo is spooled up, it's a great performer.

Offroad ability is excellent, there are few cars as capable off the showroom floor as an XJ, and with a (relatively) minor injection of mods they can outperform much bigger, and more expensive vehicles.


All that said, I don't think that i would like to tow 2000kgs with one!
