Just wondering if it is possible to put the 3lt diesel motor from about 2001/2004 hilux into a 1995 hilux .Looking at both bodies they seem the same. Can it be done.

are you talking about the 5L or the turbo one?
Bodies are different, changed in 98 but that doesnt matter.
I have thought about something similar but a 1KZ-TE out of a surf would be a better prospect I reckon?

I didn't see any mention of him wanting to put a Nissan 3l into the Lux & I would imagine the only way you could blow a Toyota 3l prematurely would to be silly enough to put one in a Cruiser, however I think you would still struggle to kill it.

Sure can...you have electronic and manual injection models, i have heard alot of people have problems with the electro ones getting the wiring sorted, so i would keep to the normal injection ones
