Can anyone provide me with the Waypoint for Mt Ive Station in SA please. The one on
PLACES is for the radio tower and when shown on the mapping system, is NW of
Iron Knob, but does not seem to be far enough west.

PS the UHF tower is at the back of the station area and is also in the correct spot. Must admit I did a Mt Ive search and was given the UHF repeater and not the station, I will have to work out why. Anyway these positions are within a few metres.

Ah worked out the search issue it is recorded at
Mount Ive not Mt Ive - I am adjusting the
places search to get around this issue and it should be updated in a few days to a week. But anyway the place is 100% right.
PS: I found it using the
Places with 5KM of the UHF repeater. Do not forget to
check the links in the near
places furtur down the page it will highlight other waypoints near the one you are looking at and the UHF one reference both the Station and the actual Mountain.

Russ, I have just posted the .plt file for
Mount Ive summit and
Lake Gairdner. Both are excellent trips which I did with my club a couple of years ago. Recommended.
regards
Mike

Thanks Mike, I'll have a look, but to date have not worked out if or how to use the .plt files.
