Hi Guys,
I am looking for a friendly canvas worker in or around
Adelaide for a couple of projects I have - Basically an awning/tent that needs to be made up.
Have spoken to a couple of the larger canvas
places but am really looking for a smaller/
home operator that has lower overheads and is able to spend a bit more time on the job...
Anyone know of any good canvas tradesman in or around
Adelaide that might be operating from
home / semi retired etc?
Thanks
Dave

Have you tried Sar Major just off South Rd? I think it's in St Mary's. It's not a small backyard factory and they may be worth a try.

I appreciate the replys so far guys, but I really am not looking for the mainstream commercial guys. Cameron, Sar Major, Universal etc etc are all easy to find.
I am looking for the smaller operator.

Candy Canvas in
Tintinara are highly regarded in this area. I know they are not close to
Adelaide but maybe worth a look.

Depends how close it has to be to qualify as "around Adelaide".
Here in Kadina, we have a bloke who does excellent work... Kevin Slattery of "Canvas Concepts". Give him a call if you like on 8821 1513. We're only an hour or so from
Adelaide; could be worth a drive. If you are coming up this way, let me know and we may be able to meet-up etc.
Cheers
Roachie

Hi Dave, Halls canvas at Hackham are a family business, workshop at back of house. Do very good work, cheerful environment and can make anything. They really are very helpful.
