Richard
Ok your not interested, but I am.
If you don't think Aboriginal people are worthy of discussion on this site, then don't read the post.
I've spent a bit of time up around
Alice Springs.
Back in 2002, for example, a mob of Aboriginal kids came in from some where around Uluru.
They had a bunch of those dome tents and struggled to understand how to erect them. Went down there to give them a hand, and we had a good time. Plenty of laughter.
Sat round the fire at the top of the McDonnell's Caravan park to finish the night.
Not one other person in the whole camping ground came to join us. How do you think this made the the kids feel the next morning?
If you don't think this is 4WD, or touring related, then I think your missing the point.
Irrespective of all the bull bleep stories, there are a lot of communities doing some good things.
Mullin was able to break away and start an Aboriginal artist community in the west, not to mention Lamboo,
Kimberley Downs and many properties run by Aborigine fellas.
I'm not making a political statement for Christ sake!
Regards
Kim
