Hi everyone.
Another complete 'newbie to caravanning' question for you all.
I brought
home my new Jayco Expanda today and picked up a Honda eu20 on the way thru. What cord do I need to connect the two each other?
I naively through a normal extension lead would do the trick, but apprently not!!
Thanks in advance for your help.
By the way - maiden voyage with the new camper this weekend - Can't Wait !!!

I wired up the CT for 240 volts for use in carravan parks and I use the same extension for the honda no worries. Why wouldn't it work?
I put earth in to take advantage of the earthed park supplies. Dont get me going on earthing gennies please.
Perhaps you found the caravan has a fifteen amp plug in and your ten amp wont fit?

Stevo
You will need a 15 amp extension lead to connect the Honda to the Jayco.
The Jayco will have a 15amp (big wide earth ) Male plug and the Honda has (two) 15 amp sockets, a normal 10 amp extension lead will fit into the Honda but not into the van.
