Pity the poor holiday makers trying to return
home through Nowra. 24km traffic crawl yesterday south of Nowra. Glad I stayed
home. Just 3 sets of traffic lights caused this near the
bridge. You would thing that the cops or RTA would control the flow rather than leaving the traffic to fight and crawl.
Cheers
Jack

Passed through Nowra a couple of days before New Year. Took close to 2 hours to get through. They really have the silliest road system there. Definitely not the Clever Country there.
Cheers

Same here outside
Brisbane, coming back from the Sunshine Coast.
Reportedly 3 hours for a 1 hour trip.
I was listening to the radio while I was working. Wouldn't have minded being stuck in traffic rather than working. :o)

Have a good time?
See, the weather stayed fine because we didn't go :o)
Thanks for the offer to.
Work is in walking distance of
home. Only time we used the car was to go the the hardware
shop and church.
Got the bathroom tiles up in the shower, which is good.
Only worked about 12 hours over
Easter to catch up on a couple of jobs.
Planning to make our own long weekend later.

John.
We had a great time. Good weather, plenty of water in the Mann & no traffic worries on the way & return to
Grafton.

We returned to Nowra from
Mallacoota yesterday. The traffic jams started at Moruya. It took us an hour to travel 15 km's from the Mad mile sth of
batemans bay to the bay
bridge. No troubles at
Ulladulla, but from theSussex Inlet turn off it was a
parking station. We got to Turrpy Road and came in the back way. All in all 7.5 hours from
Mallacoota, this included a couple of scooby stops for the dog. I found the biggest problem was the merging lanes. Once passed these the traffic flowed smoothly again until the next one.
Memo to self: next
Easter stay
home!

Oh
well, if people are silly enough to tear off for a couple of days at
Easter like all the other lemmings, they get to enjoy the return trip as
well :)))

Just have to be smarter than the average lemming and make sure your not on the road at peak times, or even better take the Tuesday off and have an extended
easter.

yep that was me, just got
home after lunch time today, no traffic hold ups what so ever from gympie to
brisbane. going to gympie on thursday arvo was a completely different story though, no chance of getting booked by the fixed speed camera at burpengary, i was in either 1st or 2nd gear at the time, no chance of doing the 100 klm / hr that arvo.

I hit Nowra at about 9am on Monday after
Easter down at Bodalla. It wasn't too bad then but just starting to build up. Other than that, it was a good run back to the big smoke.
