Hi,
I'm currently considering buying an Oztrail Tourer 10 Plus tent, however I've been told that you can't buy a side pole kit (to remove the centre pole) which suits this model (300cm wide).
So my question is, are there any people out there who have found a solution to this?
Cheers,
Boab

can't help with your query, although I can tell you about the space in a 9plus.
we can fit our double mattress behind the centre pole with room to move on both sides and front, clothes etc go in front corners.
good room for two people might be a bit small f you have a couple of kids.
the sidepole kit is worth it if you can find a way.

Hi Cackles,
I'm curious about the side pole kit as I'm considering buying an Oztrail myself. Is it just for the convenience of no centre pole or are there other benefits?
Cheers

hey bware,
the main reason we use the side pole is to minimise the risk of drunken idiots (us) stumbling in and bringing the whole show down.
The main benefit from a sober point of view is more options in the internal layout, you know middle of the night moving the mattress to chase the breeze etc. doesn't sound like much but it's worth the $30.

with a tourer plus 10 there is enough room to fit a double bed longways (that is from pole to window)with room to spare, so the question has never arose.
