My neighbour passed away on Sunday night.
12mths ago he was laying beside me helping me with the transfer case in the Landy.
A victim of cancer of some type.
Have watched him erode away at a incredible rate the last few weeks.
At ninty years of age he had a good innings, But as i say at 89 he was a incredible man !.
I have said it before, " Cancer is the biggest mongrel out there"
Cheers Axle.

Always sad when one looses a family member or close friend, have lost quite a few of both to cancer. I reckon a drunk driver is ten times 'the biggest mongrel out there'.

Indeed it is, and all loss is hard to take.

Anyone wanting to help with the cause may support Michael
Mitchell's Cancer walk.
Ironman, Engel, and Tru Blu have made considerable contributions. We have tried to do our bit as
well.
Tomorrow I hope to fit a superb dual battery system kindly donated by RV Powerstream, thanks Ian Martin.
Jim (who has been touched by Jackie Dancer)

Hiya Jimbo,
Do you still have your Member profile active? Is so, change your
logon settings and use the Member
Blogs system as you could put together something rather interesting for Michael - ie. a Blog with the pre event setup, your involvement etc (all no problem to us as its we don't care how OT people go in their own
Blogs) and then you can enter details of the walk and funds raised etc as time goes on. The Blog system is nicer to read as it keeps everything together under your name by date etc - bit easier to follow than tidbits in the
Forum.
Regards,
Michelle

Jim, do you have further details on the walk? I have seen it mentioned a couple of times on the
forum now but don't know any details. The how or why? It would be good to be able to participate in some way or drum up support.
Thanks
