3 weeks ago I thought I might do Melbourne - Kadina SA - Alice Springs - Tennant Creek - Mt Isa - Cloncurry - Charlieville - Cunnamulla - Ningyn (something like that) - Parkes - Forbes - Tocumwal - Shepparton - Melbourne.

1 hr in the planning plus two phone calls - left on Saturday 8.30am and arrived back in Melbourne 9.30pm the following Thursday with two nights and a day stop over in Alice Springs with my brother.

The JEEP performed flawlessly and I saw everything along the way and in between.

Actually it was 5 weeks ago.

Got a bit mixed up as I squeezed in a trip to John (R)'s the following weekend, a Trip to see Dashing Des in Berri SA the weeked after that, and a day trip to Orbost three days later (all in the JEEP).

Plus and 10 trip to Perth last week ( by plane ).

axel & swmbo
have a great & safe trip ,it's guys like u that makes one a little jealous.but I'm sure the planning although a little long will pay off & i'll bet u aren't even counting the hrs.
We hope to leave Perth heading to Townsville, gunnbarrel /plenty, mid June then back across the savannah way to GRR , down the WA coast back to Perth about 18 -20 wks ,but it does take some planning . we put ours onthe drawing board seriously about 8 mths ago & it seemed as if we had plenty of time up our sleeve & now it's rapidly closing in .
Again guys ENJOY ENJOY ENJOY!!!
Cheers Tony N

Hi Axel ,
Must be great to know the time has arrived. We have been planning for 2yrs and will be off next year. I know how it feels as we are in the throes of having our new off roader built and can't wait for next year. Have a great trip if your in Perth post a thread.
