I wasn't aware that Roger is now selling - sexually transmitted life - but then again, I suppose you are the one and only living prime example of such a thing.
Now that that fact is a known something or other, I will sleep easily tonight.
By the way, are you still looking over your shoulder for that 6'10", 150kg Kiwi SAAB owner, whose vehicle you recently 'panel beated' with the camper van whilst in EN-ZED.

Hi Parso, How often do you use the winch ? Do you really need to change from steel rollers ? If the steel rollers are in good condition and smooth then I can't see why you need to change.

Must have to admit I thought about that to get back some efficentcy from my aluminium Hawse.
Seen a friend build one from those plastic rollers from the local trailer place (In Dandenong here its called Carac).
They use them on boat trailers, and they have quiet a range.
Also seen the problem solved with a homemade steel roller which was made such that the horizontal was wide and prevented the plasma from being nicked.
In this case it was just 1 inch steel pipe with large bolt thru centre.
Not as efficent as regular rollers but ahead of Aluminium.
